Restarting

Restarting is a systematic process aimed at improving the performance of an existing building. Using a comprehensive building system approach, restarting aims to identify operational improvements that will enhance occupant comfort and energy efficiency. We receive requests almost every week from clients, tenants, and building operators who are experiencing unfavorable environmental conditions. Based on these initial inquiries, we are assigned to restart several buildings in the GCC countries that were either not properly commissioned from the beginning or have undergone inadequate maintenance.

Operation and Testing Management

SANA provides expertise in Operation and Testing Management for owners, developers, project managers, consultants, contractors, and end-users of buildings. Our Operation and Testing Management team has extensive experience and has completed numerous landmark projects, ensuring strategic planning, precise operation, and thorough testing of buildings to guarantee strict compliance from the design and installation phase to final delivery.

Initiating and implementing a formal Operation and Testing Management system is essential for the success of any project and is also a requirement for many international and regional green building certifications.

Commissioning and Testing of MEP Systems

(Mechanical, Electrical, and Plumbing)

Commissioning and Testing is a third-party guarantee that ensures clients receive a fully operational and efficient building. Continuous monitoring and verification of the commissioning and testing process allow clients to gain a comprehensive understanding throughout the project duration.

Independent verification/accreditation is typically a service assigned by the client.

SANA provides clients with professional representation, ensuring that all building operation services are carried out according to current regulations, design, and specifications, while ensuring that all points and interfaces are compatible to guarantee the building operates efficiently and correctly after delivery.

Testing and Commissioning of Electrical Systems

Operation and Maintenance (O&M) Manuals

SANA provides a comprehensive record of work progress and system/equipment test data, where the commissioning and testing documentation forms are an important part of the contract completion documents. These also provide valuable information for future building owners.

SANA prepares Operation, Maintenance, Safety, and Training Manuals that cover all aspects of building services in accordance with the highest standards.

Drafts and final copies of the manuals can be issued in a bound hard copy or in digital format on a CD-ROM.
